Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to rent a pontoon boat or jet ski from Maine Marine Rentals.

To rent a pontoon boat or jet ski, individuals must be 18 years of age or older, must present a valid driver’s license upon delivery, and adhere to all safety requirements as outlined by the State of Maine. These requirements are linked below. If required to complete a boating safety course, a certificate must be presented upon delivery.

If cancelling 14 or more days prior to your rental, a full refund will be applied to your credit card.

If cancelling 8-13 days prior to your scheduled rental, a refund will be provided at 50% of the total cost.

If cancelling 0-7 days prior to your scheduled rental, no refund will be provided. Your credit card will be charged for the total booking.

In the event of a cancellation on days 0-5, we will make every attempt to re-rent the equipment and to provide you with a partial refund. This cannot be guaranteed.

Maine Marine Rentals carries liability insurance for all rented watercraft. Physical damage incurred to watercraft during the rental period is not covered under this policy and any repairs or lost rental time of the equipment will be charged to the renter. Renters are encouraged to inquire about coverage available to them through renters, homeowners, auto insurance policies or through their credit card company.

A $500 damage deposit will be held on your account. This deposit is fully refunded when equipment is returned without damage.
